Do you take special orders?

Yes, we do take special orders for books. However it should be noted that customers are required to pay the full price of their special order books in advance.

How do I place a special order?

You can email to info.leobooks@gmail.com about the titles you wish to order. The information required for special orders are:

ISBN number,
Title,
Author, and
Format of the book (hardcover or paperback).

An email will be sent to you regarding the price of your special order. You will then be required to confirm your special order through email.

What are the payment methods for special orders?

For special orders, it is recommended that customers use direct banking. Please read our Privacy Policy and the payment methods.

Is it possible to cancel an order?

No. Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.

Do you take phone orders?

No.

How do I know that my order is submitted?

An email will automatically be sent to you within twenty four hours together with the transaction/tracking number of your order.

When will I receive my book?

For ordinary orders:
Books should arrive within two to five working days.
For special orders:
Books should arrive within three to six weeks.

What if I don't receive my book within the given time frame?

What if the book I ordered is out of stock?

If payment has already been made, we will refund our customers (for cash or direct banking) or cancel the order (for credit cards).

Shipping

We process all orders within 2 working days (Mon - Fri). When using the express shipping method, please note that the delivery period may take longer than the stipulated time due to any unforseen postal delays. If you do not receive your order within one week, please notify us immediately. For shipping rates, please click on the "SHIPPING" icon at the top the page.

We will email the tracking number to you as soon as the order has been posted.

You can transfer funds to our Maybank account once you have received our order confirmation via email. Orders will be processed as soon as the correct amount has been paid. Please email or fax to us a copy of the bank-in slip or internet transfer.

Selling Your Books

Customers must first inform us through email about their intentions to sell their books and provide us with the required information.
Information that we need are:

Type of book (educational, fiction or etc.),
ISBN, and
Title of the book

Please take note that we do not accept textbooks, travel and computer books, magazines and books in other languages. Extremely yellowish books are not accepted.
All such transactions will be made directly with the store.

What we won't buy

With million of books printed around the world and with the ever-changing trend, we can't say exactly what kind of book we want. However, we can give you a rough idea on what we do not buy. Those are:

Books in poor condition (torn pages, stains and odors, falling out pages, poor binding, etc.)
Extremely yellowish books
Hardcover fiction books
Computers and academic books
Textbooks and ex-library books
Foreign language books
Old encyclopedia books
Adult series romaces (Mills and Boons, etc.)
Not for sale copies
Magazines and manuals

Book Conditions

Excellent

The book appears to be in excellent condition. Closer examination however will show signs of ownership and storage. There may also be indications of previous ownership, but generally the book is in near perfect condition. Dustjacket (if present) as new but with very slight rubbing on the corners.

Very Good

Apart from slight doggy ears or fading, the book has minimal faults. Dustjacket (if present) clean with excellent colouring but with slight rubbing to most edges and corners.

Fine

Fine describes the average used and worn book that has all pages or leaves present. Defects may be browning to the pages or yellow spots. It is obvious that the book is second-hand. However apart from minor faults, it may be assumed that books in fine condition are complete in all respects, unless described otherwise. Dustjacket (if present) fairly clean with almost slight colouring and suffering from marks, creasing and other signs of wear. Most of the edges are rubbed or have very small tears in them.

Creating Your Account

It is not necessary to create an account if you wish to make a purchase. By creating an account, the system will store your billing information in order for you to checkout faster in your next purchase. All credit card information (if any) will not be stored in our system.
